Executive Orders

Executive orders are used for formal statements issued by the King County Executive mainly for the delegation of executive authority and responsibility. Executive orders become effective either on the date of, or 10 days after executive signature.

Procurement, contracting, and sale of materials and services.

Human Resources
All phases of personnel administration.

Information Management
Control, recording, processing, distribution, storage, and retrieval of information.

Property
Real property owned by the county, including acquisition, lease, rental or sale, utility franchises, special use motor vehicle permits, and right-of-way construction.

Public Health
Public health care.

Utilities
Operation and maintenance of utilities and public transportation.
