Some clinical services are offered through a partnership with Neighborcare Health and Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care as indicated in the service listings below.

Adult health care clinic

Services provided by Neighborcare Health

Services include medical care when you are sick, care for ongoing problems and chronic diseases, check-ups and screenings for hidden diseases like cancer, and vaccination against disease. Adults receive care from Family Practice doctors and nurse practitioners.

Child health care clinic

Services provided by Neighborcare Health

Services include medical care when your child is sick, well child check-ups, immunizations (shots against disease); checks on your child's health, growth and development. Children receive care from Children's Hospital pediatric residents and faculty, pediatric nurse practitioners, and Family Practice doctors and nurse practitioners.

Behavioral health services

Services provided by Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care

Services include: Individual and group counseling and therapy, walk-in behavioral health intakes, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, peer support, care coordination, crisis services, and veteran's services.

Hours available:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8 am to 2 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am to 5 pm
  • Walk-in intakes: Daily, 8:30 am to 2 pm

Blood pressure checks

HIV screening

Basic evaluation of risk factors, client education on risk reduction and blood testing to check for HIV (virus that causes AIDS).

Maternity Support Services (MSS) and Infant Case Management (ICM)

  • MSS helps pregnant women find health insurance, local doctors or midwives and other community resources to support a healthy pregnancy.
  • The ICM program provides support and referral to needed medical, social, educational and other resources in your community so that your baby and family can thrive.

Maternity screening/pregnancy testing

Office visit with a nurse to verify pregnancy, determine medical risk and financial status, and refer to appropriate prenatal services, including to DSHS for medical coupons, health care provider for maternity care, appropriate site for maternity support services and WIC Supplemental Food Program.

Substance abuse disorder treatment and care

Services provided by Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care

Services include:
Co-occurring disorder licensed individual and group counseling and therapy, walk-in chemical dependency intakes, out-patient, intensive out-patient, and life skills, and recovery groups.

Hours available:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8 am to 2 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am to 5 pm
  • Walk-in intakes: Tuesday, 8:30 am – 2 pm

Tuberculosis (TB) testing

Tuberculosis screening and treatment for tuberculosis is available. TB skin testing and appropriate follow up are provided.

Women, Infants and Children nutrition program (WIC)

WIC is a supplemental food program for women who are pregnant or breast feeding, infants and children. In addition to Meridian Center for Health, WIC services are also available at:
