PLEASE NOTE (12/8/09): As required by King County to help close the budget gap for 2010, Public Health is closing the remaining public immunization clinics at Downtown Public Health Center; Federal Way Public Health Center and Renton Public Health Center. This change is effective immediately. No new appointments will be made for immunizations at these centers.

The best way for children to receive their immunizations is with a doctor, as part of a regular health care visit. It is important to take your child to the doctor for regular check-ups. The doctor can check on how your child is growing and make sure there are no hidden health problems.
If you need help finding medical coverage for your child:
Many children in Washington can receive free or low-cost medical coverage which pays for visits to the doctor as well as immunizations.
Every Public Health Center in King County has a Client Services Specialist who can give you more information and help you apply for medical coverage. Please call or visit your local Public Health Center for an appointment with the Client Services Specialist.
